Print on Demand. This book delves into the ongoing tension between science and morality in the present day, particularly in regards to the fields of psychology and philosophy. The author argues that the rise of scientific determinism has led to the idea that human beings are simply biological machines with no free will or moral responsibility. This controversial view not only contradicts the teachings of traditional moral systems, but also raises profound questions about the nature of human existence. The author provides a comprehensive analysis of the scientific and philosophical arguments for and against determinism, and concludes by reflecting upon the significance of these insights for our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
