About the Author:

Wing Commander Suhas M. Shukla (Retd) graduated from the prestigious National Defence Academy, Pune. He was commissioned into the Indian Air Force, in its flying branch. He has logged more than 5000 flying hours. He took part in the Indo-Pak war in 1971. He is a qualified navigation instructor.

He was sent on deputation as a Principal to Sainik Schools under the Ministry of Defence. He worked at Sainik School in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan. He was also the Commandant of Bhonsala Military School, Nasik. Later, he set up the Royal Gondawana Public School at Nagpur. Presently, he is working as Executive Coordinator with the Sanjeewan Vidyalaya Trust at Panchgani, Pune. Wing Commander Shukla was Treasurer and also Honorary Secretary of the IPSC (Indian Public Schools’ Conference). He was a member of the committee set up by the Government of Maharashtra to set up Sainik Schools in the state. He has visited almost all the Sainik Schools and a number of leading residential public schools of the country.

His other book Security Management was published recently. His wife Sumangala, is also an educationist.
