Per questo motivo � stato proposto un algoritmo efficiente dal punto di vista energetico per il processo di selezione delle teste di cluster. L'algoritmo proposto introduce una funzione probabilistica modificata per i nodi eterogenei. I nodi vengono selezionati come Cluster-head in base a questa funzione probabilistica proposta; hanno probabilit� diverse per l'elezione del CH di ogni tipo di nodo eterogeneo. Questa funzione probabilistica include anche una soglia di energia per i nodi. Grazie a tutto ci� si ottiene un'elevata durata della rete.
