Large folio (450 X 314 mm.). Portfolio wrappers of heavy stiff brown stock. Gilt title and blind decoration to match the original. contents loose in the wrappers. Four loose leaves reproducing the original title page, 2 pages of introduction and a limitation leaf. All housed in a matching folder box replicating the original boards on the book. a fine clean, as new volume. This is a high quality reprint of Coleman's very scarce work on Mont Blanc. Our copy was reprinted in 1984 in an edition of 500 of which our copy is 333. It seems to have been done again in Bern in 1985 in an edition of 100 with the accompanying text in German and not Italian. They appear to be almost the same other than the imprints etc. Neate C92, Abbey Travel 68, Meckly 52. for the original. We have only had one copy of the original and this facsimile is a great and less expensive alternative for your collection. Seller Inventory # 143144
