Isaac Taylor, an English engraver and writer of books for the young. In the publisher's quarter roan, with paper covered boards.Externally, generally smart, with toning to the boards and rubbing to the extremities. Small loss to the tail of the spine. Bookplate of one Pamela Lister to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the odd spot and a neat contemporary gift inscription to the half title. Minor offsetting to the facing pages of plates. Good.
