Her relationship with Liam-the lifelong best friend who never stopped loving her-offers a future she never thought she deserved. Then everything changes.A devastating phone call leaves Liam fighting for his life after a military accident that could take away not only his career, but his ability to walk. As Aurora becomes his caregiver, the roles between them begin to shift. Together they must navigate painful recoveries, lingering trauma, courtroom battles, and the scars that refuse to fade as easily as the ones on their skin. While Liam struggles to rebuild the life he thought he'd lost, Aurora fights a different battle-the constant pull of old coping mechanisms and the fear that she will never truly escape the woman Erik convinced her she was.As their friendship grows into something deeper, they begin to dream of a future together. But with Erik refusing to let go and the past threatening to resurface at every turn, Aurora must decide whether healing means simply surviving. or allowing herself to truly live.Scars Fade is an emotional story of resilience, recovery, found family, and second chances. Perfect for readers who enjoy deeply emotional contemporary fiction, it explores the lasting impact of abuse, military trauma, self-harm recovery, and the extraordinary strength it takes to choose hope after heartbreak.
