Many of the top-edges of the pages are unopened. Red-brown leather spine and sides, with a raised band at the top and bottom of the spine, with gilt-lettered titling, and gilt Random House device on the spine, with tan-gray cloth over boards. The raised bands on the spine show light rubbing, small area of discoloration on the top margin of the front cover, light one inch split to the upper front inner hinge; tiny book label of Raymond E.
