Print on Demand. During the 19th century, many individuals questioned the spiritual austerity of the dominant religious philosophies of the time. People sought alternative spiritual and philosophical influences, and one that gained traction was physiognomy. This book takes a distinct stance on the idea of physiognomy, exploring the theory that a person's character can be determined by their physical features. The author argues that humans possess an inborn evil or satanic character, one that can be discerned in a person's face and body. They posit that the devil, whom they refer to as Satan, is the source of all evil and that he works through individuals to corrupt their souls and lead them astray. Furthermore, they contend that the human face is a reflection of the internal struggle between good and evil and that certain facial features indicate the presence of Satanic influence. Ultimately, the author's perspective on physiognomy is that it can aid in understanding the complex relationship between spirituality and the physical world, emphasizing the ability to recognize the signs of evil. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
