In the ordinary world, danger lurks unseen-up to 3,000 serial killers are said to operate in the United States at any given time, many never caught, their crimes defying logic and understanding. But what if some of them aren't human?
Sarah is just another woman navigating life, until she stumbles through a hidden veil and into a realm of ancient magic. With powers she never knew existed, she learns that the monsters haunting the mortal world may not be flesh and blood at all. When she encounters one of these unworldly killers, an epic battle unfolds-one that will test the limits of her newfound magic and reveal terrifying secrets about the nature of evil itself.
