Arnold Cartwright, an ?ordinary Englishman? has lost his job and marriage. A highly qualified radar technician, he is recruited by a Spanish based company working in ?commercial aircraft control? Right from the start of his new job, it is clear to Cartwright that the job he is working on is not as innocent as it seems. A murder attempt on his father makes it clear to Cartwright that he has his job for life or death. A post-cold-war thriller, Sand Blind raises questions of fundamental importance - the morality of international arms sales, the use and abuse of double agents and Western support for power-crazed dictators. An enthralling page-turner, Sand Blind is the work of a brilliant writer at the height of his powers.
