Paperback. The second installment in the Samurai Trilogy introduces new creatures and cultures as the dragon's threat, Hirakuryu, grows. Father, Tomoe, and Gawappa must travel to the northernmost land of Ezochi to retrieve the second treasure of Amaterasu. To avoid being a hindrance any further, Father begins his own training. The coming winter forces them to take a new route, and they join a party traversing through the dangerous passes of the Hida Mountains. The line between friend and foe is constantly unclear. Meanwhile, Hirakuryu dispatches a mercenary to track and dispose of Amaterasu's Samurai. This item is printed on demand.
