In Spanish. 'Venga tu reino!' 'Se terminó de imprimir el 3 de enero de 1991 en el jubileo de oro de la fundacion de la Legion de Cristo y del Movimento Regnum Christi' (was printed on January 3, 1991 in the Golden Jubilee of the founding of the Legion of Christ and the Regnum Christi Movement). This 25-year-old book is extremely rare and in excellent condition. You can see the beige covers in the last two photographs. There isn't any wear to speak of. The corners are fine. The bottom spine end has just a little bit of a bend. The gilt lettering is bright on the front cover. The top page edge has a little bit of dust soiling (which doesn't affect the actual pages). There's also a little dust soiling on the top edges of the covers and there are few spots on the rear cover below the top edge. Those are the only imperfections I see on the covers. The book is square and tight and very solidly bound. The interior of the book appears to be perfect. Pages are exceptionally clean (immaculate). I didn't see any instance of soiling. The inside covers and end papers are in perfect condition. I really didn't see one flaw. No one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. There aren't any markings or attachments. I didn't see any creases or dogeared corners. On the back of the second to last end paper there is a printed '002' and underneath that the word 'RYE'. I have no idea what that references. I do wonder whether this was a very limited publishing. I was able to find only two copies of this book for sale. I will reference those later. Finally, there is an 8 by 2 inch bookmark with a picture of 'His Holiness Pope John Paul II' under which is printed '50th Anniversary of Ordination to the Holy Priesthood' and below that '1946-November 1-1996. There is a little bit of dust soiling/staining again at the very top of the bookmark (which was peeking out through the top page edges), but the dust staining does not reach the color photograph of Pope John Paul II. On the back side of the bookmark there is a prayer in red print. Making this book rarer still is the presence of its dust jacket. You can see it in the first three photographs. The white covers are perfectly clean. Actually there is an underlying brownish pattern which is throwing off the accuracy of the scanned photographs. There is a slight sun yellowing at the front top margin but it is exaggerated by the scanner. You can see there is very little wear on the jacket, just a few very minor tiny impressions/creases. There are no tears. There is a thin and straight vertical line on the rear cover near the middle edge which I'm fairly certain was the way the book was produced. The jacket is NOT clipped (there is no stated price, it may never have been actually publicly sold). The dust jacket will be fitted with a protective cover. As I mentioned earlier I was only able to find two copies of this book for sale. One without a dust jacket and in apparently rough condition selling for $1,300.00 and the other one with I assume a dust jacket selling for a mere $64,000.00. That's one hopeful dude. This book has an interesting history to say the least. Rather than my trying to pick and choose and copy and paste, you just need to google the title and a few relevant stories will come up. In 1991 on the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Legion of Christ, Pope John Paul II ordained 60 new priests in St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. At the same time, the first world Regnum Christi event was held in Rome, gathering thousands of members. Seller Inventory # 000997
