no published date shown on title page, 331p, Valued at $25 - $45 Martin Marie Rigobert de Ganache had far too many important things to do than worry about the plight of an endangered heiress. But as he and the unfortunate lady become more involved, he has no choice but to carry on with the situation until it is reaches its fitting conclusion. 'St Martin?s Summer' is a delightful mixture of comedy, adventure and suspense, firmly in the tradition of 'The Three Musketeers. A gripping, romantic masterpiece, which starts a little slowly, then generates such suspense that it is a real page turner. Adventure, romance and brilliant writing. This is possibly my favorite Sabatini, although the two Scaramouche books, and the Venetian Masque are strong contenders.
