125 Pages. Avon #653. Copyright 1935. Date of this edition is not given but is probably 1955. A used book with worn covers but complete. Pages are lightly age-tanned but not brittle. Store stamp inside back cover. A comely girl-in-distress with a come-hither look that is more than distressing. A frightened innkeeper in whose eyes lurks fear and the threat of death. A sinister red-headed rogue with temper to match and an urge to kill. These are only three of the fascinating characters you'll meet as Simon Templar, the Robin Hood of Modern Crime, lodges at a haunted inn, uncovers a tunnel to doom - and the most fantastic plot he has ever encountered. The two stories inn the book, The Case of the Frightened Innkeeper and The High Fence are complete and unabridged.
