You think you know safety? Think again.
I’m about to fix everything that’s wrong with the safety industry. You heard me.
For too long, the so-called "experts" have been whispering about soft nonsense like “empathy,” “psychological safety,” and “learning teams.” 🤮
Well, I'm done whispering. I'm Darrell the Safety Man, and I’m here to tell you what you already know but are too scared to say: your safety is YOUR problem. It’s time to try harder.
This book is a steel-toed kick of pure, undiluted common sense. It’s a return to the good ol' days when rules were rules, leaders were leaders, and excuses got you a one-way ticket to the unemployment line.
This isn't a group hug. This is a reality check.
Inside BE SAFE OR ELSE!, you’ll finally get the truth:
-
The 3 R's™: My signature, battle-tested system of Reprimand, Remind, and Retrain. It works every time. You're welcome.
-
The Gospel of ABC (Always Be Careful): Safety isn't complicated. If you can't follow this simple rule, you are the hazard.
-
The Real Purpose of Safety: I’ll finally say the quiet part out loud—my job is to protect the company from you.
-
The Joy of Discipline: A little punishment is the best medicine. I'll show you why accountability (the painful kind) is the cornerstone of a world-class safety program.
-
Real Leadership: Newsflash—the person in charge is in charge for a reason. They're smarter. Your only job is to do what you're told, when you're told.
If you’re looking for a book that will coddle you and validate your feelings, this ain't it. This book is for the people who are ready to stop making excuses and start taking responsibility.
Stop whining. Stop waiting for someone to hold your hand.
Scroll up, click 'Buy Now,' and get ready to be safe... or else.
Note: This book is a work of parody and satire, intended for entertainment purposes only. Please do not attempt to manage your safety program, your employees, or your life like Darrell. Seriously.
