Paperback. Twenty years of marriage. Six words that destroyed it all. At forty-two, Bridget Halloran thought she had the perfect life. A beautiful home, a stable marriage, and an anniversary trip to St. Lucia just around the corner. Then, on a random Tuesday, her husband Trent packs his bags. He isn't just leaving her for his twenty-six-year-old assistant. He is leaving because, in his cruelest parting words, Bridget is just too "safe, comfortable, and vanilla." Devastated and discarded, Bridget is forced to navigate the agonizing wreckage of midlife divorce. But what starts as a story of a woman falling apart quickly transforms into a triumphant journey of a woman putting herself back together. As Trent's impulsive new life begins to spectacularly unravel, Bridget discovers that the quiet strength she was mocked for is actually her greatest superpower. Enter Grady: a rugged, patient farm-to-table chef who knows exactly what it means to rebuild a life from scratch. He doesn't want to save her; he wants to stand beside her. With the fierce backing of her hilarious, no-nonsense family and best friends, Bridget learns how to laugh again, how to fight back, and how to embrace a passionate second-chance romance she never saw coming. Perfect for fans of gripping domestic fiction, emotional women's literature, and stories of incredibly satisfying karma. Safe, Comfortable, Vanilla is a slow-burn journey through betrayal, healing, and the ultimate revenge: finding true happiness. Scroll up and click "Buy Now" to read this unforgettable story today!
