Leather-bound new illustrated edition hardback, 1876, with no jacket as published. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of handling and storage - full tan leather boards, with gilt titles on red label and five raised bands with gilt decoration between to spine, are rubbed to decorated gilt edges and generally a little marked. Internally clean. Binding tight, no annotations or inscriptions - name and tipped-in gift message to reverse of ffep; marbled page-ends slightly faded but marbled endpapers, text and illustrations bright and clear throughout.
