1959, 119pp. Ex-library copy with stamps at title-page and a number at spine, else G. From the preface: "Rather than limit ourselves to the impact of evolution on a single science, we preferred to offer a selective sampling of its implications in several branches of learning. For this purpose specialists in biology, anthropology, philosophy, and theology were invited to lecture about some of the problems evolution raises in their respective fields." Includes an introduction - DARWIN RECALLED - by Boelen, and these lectures: EVOLUTION AND VIRUSES, by Frederick C. Bawden; HUMAN ORGANIC EVOLUTION. FACT OR FANCY, by Gottfried O. Lang; PHILOSOPHICAL ASPECTS OF EVOLUTION, by Andrew G. van Melsen; EVOLUTION AND THE BIBLE, by Cyril Vollert, S.J.
