Reprint of the November 1917 first edition. XVI, 450 PP, plus 50 b/w plates (3 of them being charts). Fp: Lord Brassey at the Wheel. Tissue guard for frontispiece and plate of Sybil Countess Brassey. Cloth cover, colour device and gilt title on front cover, title and device on a faded spine. Ageing of paper, offsetting on endpapers and occasional foxing. Covers with edge wear, otherwise contents are near fine. 23 x 15.5.
