The book is in good condition, normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. Corner of boards bend inwards a little, some shelf-life wear and fading to edge of papers, tiny speckles of foxing to edge of papers. 370 pages, all intact, page 195/196 is torn at the base of the page, please see photo, good tight binding, all pages, text and illustrations are in good, clean, readable order. Rudyard Kipling is a literary colossus who bestrides and forms the English imagination. The fantasies that he wrought into identifiable shape have embedded themselves into the consciousness of generations. A truly wonderful book and a fascinating insight into a literary genius and a supreme craftsman of his life's work.
