It drains you of every ounce of strength, yet pumps shots of adrenaline through every fiber of your being when you least expect it. It builds bridges over swamps, pumps water through desert places, and plants seed of hope where life once lied destitute. It's the perfection of imperfections when they're too many to count. It's the definition, the epitome, the all-encompassing--love.
In his sophomore project, Stranded on Love's Highway, author Kefentse Booth takes readers on a passionate journey--but drops them off to experience the trip in its fullness. Leaving readers broken down in an emotional situation where a spare and a jack won't do, Booth encourages them to unbuckle the seat belt, get out the car and step into the sensual abyss of love--with no end in sight. As many journey down unchartered territory and unpaved roads of creativity, with every turn of the page, one will find themselves having covered a great distance--yet stranded in the exact same place.
