By E. Nesbit, Geo. Manville Fenn, Edward Garrett, Helen Marion Burnside, Rosa Nouchette Carey, E. M. Chettle, Edric Vredenburg, Clara Thwaites, Edith Prince-Snowden. Illustrated by Helen Jackson, Jane Willis Grey, Edith Scannell, Fanny Moody, Ellen Welby and E. M. Chettle. Pp. 78(last colophon), with 15 chromolithographic plates, monochrome title page vignette and numerous text illustrations, floral patterned endpapers; cr. 4to; brown cloth backed pictorial glazed papered boards, slightly soiled and with a few surface wrinkles, edges lightly worn; lacking upper free endpaper, the lower free endpaper loosening, hinges starting, a little foxing, browning, and occasional faint soiling; Raphael Tuck & Sons, London, n.d.[189-?]. *One story (Allie's House-Keeping) is by E. Nesbit. The publisher's imprint includes Tuck's office in New York, which opened in 1895, so the date of publication is probably shortly after that, and presumably before Raphael Tuck's death in 1900.
