Grocer's advertising broadside or handbill from the latter part of the 19th century, under the proprietorship of Fred C. Gay. The broadside continues: ".of the best quality the market affords, which I will sell at the lowest living prices. Trusting that by courteous treatment, neatness and prompt attention to business, to merit your patronage. I very respectfully solicit a trial."
