329 pp. Black boards lettered in gilt on the spine. Lightly rubbed on the corners; no interior markings. Wraparound dj art by Joe Burleson. Although she had had her share of eccentric clients over the years, she had never been asked to apply her healing touch to a lame horse before. But when she arrived at the stables, she stumbled upon the body of a man beyond any sort of medical help. The victim had been an equestrian champion before an accident ruined his career. And the police attributed his stabbing death to the mysterious Horse Ripper. Size: 8vo.
