This copy is in fine, unmarked condition bound in black cloth covered boards with white titling to the spine and the upper board. This copy is bright, tight, white and square. The unclipped dust wrapper is in mint condition International postal rates are calculated on a book weighing 1 Kilo, in cases where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased postal rates will be quoted, where the book weighs less then postage will be reduced accordingly. In 1894 the Straits Settlements postal authorities amended their regulations to allow privately printed postcards to circulate internationally at the same inexpensive rate as the blank 'official' postcards By 1898 the Straits Settlements Annual Report described the phenomena of postcards "artistically got up with characteristic local views". The 185 postcards reproduced here - many in colour for the first time - present an unforgettable, sometimes surprising, always captivating and ultimately invaluable historical document of Singapore in the first three decades of the century.
