Simple Simons Mother Goose Magical Picture Book with Magic Wand 1946 Moveable interactive childrens book A delightful and nostalgic vintage childrens book, Simple Simons Mother Goose Magical Picture Book, published January 1, 1946. This interactive storybook captures the playful charm of classic Mother Goose nursery rhymes and was designed to engage young readers with its fun magic wand feature. This copy remains in good vintage condition and still includes the original magic wand, a wonderful and increasingly hard-to-find piece that makes the book especially appealing to collectors of mid-century childrens books. The front and rear cover boards are thick and sturdy and remain securely attached, showing some expected signs of age and light wear consistent with a childrens book from the 1940s. The book is spiral bound, and the spiral binding is complete and intact, allowing the pages to turn easily. Inside, the interior pages remain clean and readable. A few pages have small rips that were carefully repaired with tape, but there is no major damage that affects the enjoyment of the book. Importantly, the pages are free from writing, markings, or highlighting. Overall, this is a charming and well-preserved example of a 1940s interactive childrens picture book, made even more special by the presence of its original magic wand. A wonderful collectible for lovers of vintage nursery rhyme books, childhood nostalgia, or mid-century illustrated childrens literature. (BR) Shelf 322.…
