Look closely. Guess the shape. Discover the magic hiding in every shadow.
Shadow Play: Guess What It Is is a playful, interactive guessing book for kids ages 3 to 6 that turns everyday shadows into a fun game of discovery. As sunlight creates mysterious shapes on pavement, grass, and sand, young readers are invited to guess what each shadow belongs to before revealing the answer. With fold-out pages and clever cutouts, this novelty picture book encourages children to observe carefully, think creatively, and connect shapes to the natural world around them.
Perfect for curious preschoolers, Shadow Play builds early observation, spatial awareness, and critical thinking skills through hands-on play. Made with sturdy cardstock pages and a compact, portable format, it is easy to take along for outdoor adventures, travel, or quiet play on the go. Part of the Kidding Nature series, this engaging book inspires kids to slow down, look closely, and explore the simple wonders of nature with imagination and curiosity.
