New York: Bergen "Perfect" Binder Company, circa [1930s]., [1930s]. Very good. - Octavo, 9-1/4 inches high by 6-1/4 inches wide. Softcover, bound in stiff blue-green wraps titled and decorated in black on the covers. 12 pages, with profuse illustrations of the firm's binders, seam joiners, and seam turners. Very good. The proprietor, John F. Bergen, was charged with violating the Wald Act in 1934. The violation involved the defacing of information on a sewing machine that it was made in Germany. His was one of the first cases prosecuted under this act.
