Item description from seller

Additional cover information: Serial No. 19101 thru 23000. 4to. (27 cm.) 53p. Profusely (!) illustrated with black and white captioned photos and drawings of all parts of the Gleaner Baldwin. Stapled booklet in white wrappers printed in black and with a black and white photo of a Gleaner Baldwin Combine on the front cover. Wrappers somewhat soiled, previous owner's name on front wrapper (Avneson?), corners square and flat, some rust on the staples, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. Gleaner Baldwin produced the first self-propelled combine, which was considered the "Cadillac" of combines. The company was bought by Allis-Chalmers in 1955, which continued to produce the distinctive silver galvanized metal combines. They were popular with custom harvester operations because they could be loaded on a truck with the header extended over the cab. Date of 1960 determined from the contents.
