Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. Even if the subject matter makes you yawn, this is still a very attractive book to display on a book shelf. Did you know that, "The advantage of a paper rule or scale is that the paper will expand and contract under varying degrees of atmospheric moisture the same as the drawing does."? Gilt lettering on green cloth-covered boards. All page edges are gilt. A couple of small bubbles in cloth on front. A few small stains. Just a couple of small areas on edges of boards where cloth is a bit worn. Well-illustrated with line drawings. Six page catalogue of other manuals by publisher at rear of book.
