«En 1988 publiqué Los escenarios de la memoria, que pretendía ser un ejercicio literario para explicar, a través de mi relación con algunos personajes relevantes del mundo de la cultura, una parte de mi formación intelectual.» Ahora, con Seductores, ilustrados y visionarios, que según el autor «pertenece al mismo género literario», Josep M. Castellet nos ofrece una visión de seis personajes, «todos amigos personales y compañeros de aventura literaria o cultural durante muchos años», en los tiempos adversos de la dictadura.
Manuel Sacristán, Carlos Barral, Gabriel Ferrater, Joan Fuster, Alfonso Carlos Comín y Terenci Moix, que con los años se convirtieron en figuras destacadas de la vida cultural catalana y española de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, son los protagonistas de Seductores, ilustrados y visionarios, aunque Castellet también nos ofrece algunas claves de su propio retrato al entrelazar su biografía con la de los otros.
Apelando a la memoria y a partir de situaciones reales poco conocidas, que arrancan de los años cuarenta del siglo pasado, el autor enhebra un relato original, sincero, irónico, crítico y agudo que lo confirma indudablemente, veinte años después de Los escenarios de la memoria, como un gran prosista.

About the Author
Josep Maria Castellet (Barcelona, 1926 - 2014) ha tenido un papel destacado en la vida cultural catalana y española desde la segunda mitad del siglo XX: ha participado activamente en una serie de empresas de suma importancia, en su condición polifacética de crítico literario, intelectual y editor. Su obra comprende ensayos como La hora del lector (1957), Iniciació a la poesia de Salvador Espriu (1971) o Josep Pla o la raó narrativa (1978), antologías de tanta trascendencia como Veinte años de poesía española (1960), Poesia catalana del segle XX (1963, en colaboración con Joaquim Molas) o Nueve novísimos poetas españoles (1970) y dos libros autobiográficos tan notables como Els escenaris de la memòria (1988) y Dietari de 1973 (2007). Pero, más allá de eso, Castellet se ha implicado en proyectos que van desde la fundación de la revista Laye hasta el Pacte Cultural de Catalunya, pasando por el homenaje a Antonio Machado de 1959, el Congreso por la Libertad de la Cultura, los diálogos Cataluña-Castilla, la Comunidad Europea de Escritores, los premios internacionales de literatura Formentor, la Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana o Edicions 62. En 2009 le fue concedido el Premi Nacional de Cultura en reconocimiento a su trayectoria artística y profesional. En Anagrama ha publicado Literatura, ideología y política, Los escenarios de la memoria y Seductores, ilustrados y visionarios.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to KALAMO BOOKS, Mitja Galta, 34 B, 12530, Burriana, Castellón, Spain, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
Shipping terms
España:
Los envíos gratuitos se tramitan por Correo postal. Son envíos sin código de seguimiento. El cartero dejará un aviso de recogida en el buzón. Este tipo de envíos "PostLibris" no tienen entrega a domicilio, la entrega es en su oficina de Correos más cercana. El plazo estimado de entrega es orientativo y no vinculante ya que depende de la gestión de cada oficina de Correos en concreto.
El envío "Prioritario" son certificados con código de seguimiento. Solamente aplicable a España peninsular.
Los pedidos que superen los 2 Kgs. (4,4 LB) de peso, tendrán un cargo adicional en el precio de envío el cual comunicaremos al cliente.
Cualquier incidencia debe ser comunicada en un plazo de 30 días desde la fecha estimada de entrega.
