Nov.,1929 printing. First published in 2 volumes by a different publisher in 1913. The book has the seal of The High School of Glascow stamped in gilt on the front cover. There is a card on the front paste-down indicating that this copy was presented as a Prize in Mathematics to the previous owner in 1932. Little wear on the corners and spine caps. Maps of the British Antarctic Expedition1910-1913 Track chart on the end papers. Pages are clean, smooth and unmarked. The binding is tight. Includes 19 photographs in black and white.
