SCMA Practical Project Management Lifecycle Playbook is a practical, end-to-end guide designed for project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and professionals who want to manage projects through the complete project lifecycle with a structured and implementation-focused approach.
The playbook takes the reader from project initiation and early planning through execution, monitoring and control, change management, risk, cost, schedule, quality, stakeholder coordination, reporting, handover, and final closeout.
Rather than presenting project management as a collection of isolated theories, this book connects the major management processes into one practical operating system. It explains what needs to be done, when it should be done, who should be involved, what records should be maintained, and how management decisions can be converted into controlled project actions.
The book includes practical workflows, management frameworks, checklists, templates, decision points, controls, and real-world guidance that can be adapted to construction, engineering, consultancy, PMC, and other project-based environments.
Particular emphasis is placed on integrating scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, procurement, communication, stakeholder management, change control, documentation, and project governance throughout the lifecycle.
Whether you are managing an individual project, supporting a project management office, supervising consultants and contractors, or developing your own project management system, this playbook provides a practical reference for moving from project authorization to successful handover and closeout.
Developed under SCMA - Soliman Contract Management Academy, the book is intended to bridge the gap between project management knowledge and day-to-day project delivery.
