About the Author: Dr. Michael Wegelin studied physics at the Karlsruhe Technical University, Germany, and at the Tübingen University, Germany. During his studies, he worked as a C++ developer for Schärfe System Reutlingen and developed graphical user interfaces on Windows for measuring devices, among other things. After finishing his studies, he worked as a software developer for Think Tools GmbH in Starnberg, Germany; K.I.S. Krankenhaus-Informationssysteme GmbH in Pliezhausen, Germany; and h/m systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Reutlingen, Germany. Since 1998, he has been the managing director of AddOn Software GmbH in Neu-Ulm, Germany, where he is responsible for the ABAP and SAP NetWeaver Process Integration area. Michael Englbrecht, who holds a degree in computer science, studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, Germany. He worked as a software developer and consultant for Tiscon Infosystems Ulm and MATHEMA AG. Since 2002, he has been a senior consultant at AddOn Software GmbH in Neu-Ulm, Germany. Here, he is responsible for the Enterprise Java and SAP NetWeaver J2EE/JEE area. His work focuses on integrating systems with the SAP Java landscape and planning and implementing service-oriented infrastructures, among other things.
