Colorful front cover with eagle illustration, some soiling and foxing to front cover with patches of surface peeling most obtrusive at top left corner, scuffing lengthwise along spine fold, white rear cover with photo image of Frederic March again with patches of surface peeling at along edges with some loss of text at bottom. Slight curling at corners. Interior pages are clean. A good copy. Illustrated with photographs throughout. Promotional publication heralding the 1939 stage performance of the Kaufman-Hart play at The Center Theatre starring Fredric March, Florence Eldridge, McKay Morris, Ruth Weston, and a company of 250. Page 17 features review blurbs by critics which indicates the publication was issued after its January 21, 1939 premiere. The play enjoyed 244 performances from January to September 1939.
