Unlock the full power of Rust without abandoning Python.
As a Python developer, you already know how to build fast. But when your applications hit performance limits — slow data pipelines, GIL-constrained concurrency, or heavy computational workloads — you need more.
This practical, hands-on guide bridges the gap between Python’s productivity and Rust’s legendary performance and safety. Written specifically for experienced Python developers, data scientists, and AI engineers, this book shows you exactly how to integrate high-performance Rust code into your existing Python projects.
What You’ll Learn
Master Rust fundamentals through direct Python comparisons
Understand ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes — explained with Python developer intuition
Build production-ready Python extensions using PyO3 and maturin
Achieve dramatic performance gains (often 10x–100x) on CPU-bound tasks
Write fearless concurrent and parallel code
Design clean, maintainable hybrid Python-Rust architectures
Accelerate data processing, agentic systems, CLI tools, and more
Who This Book Is For
Python developers who want to eliminate performance bottlenecks
Data scientists and ML engineers seeking faster pipelines
AI engineers building high-performance agentic and LLM-powered applications
Backend developers ready to move beyond the GIL
Technical leads evaluating Rust adoption in Python-heavy organizations
Why This Book?
Unlike generic Rust books, this guide is written by and for Python professionals. Every concept is taught with clear side-by-side comparisons, real-world examples, and production-focused advice. You’ll learn not just how to write Rust, but when and why to use it alongside Python.
By the end, you’ll have the confidence to build blazing-fast, memory-safe, and highly concurrent applications while continuing to enjoy Python’s rich ecosystem.
Stop working around Python’s limitations. Start building with the best of both worlds.
