A Dystopian Cyberpunk Romance Thriller
In a city where every breath is monitored and every touch is dangerous, survival is not enough.
You have to choose what you are willing to die for.
Victoria Ryder is a ghost in the wires. A black-market courier and elite data runner, she slips through the neon underworld of a collapsing megacity, smuggling secrets past a brutal surveillance regime that kills first and erases later. She has no home. No attachments. No future. Just the next job.
Until she accepts one contract that changes everything.
A pulse-shielded biotech crate.
A maximum-risk transport.
And a partner she never asked for.
Max Reed is a wanted smuggler with a reputation for surviving impossible odds. Half the underworld trusts him. The other half wants him dead. When Victoria and Max are forced together on a high-stakes extraction through the most dangerous sector of the city, they discover that the cargo they are carrying is more than illegal.
It is revolutionary.
The regime wants it destroyed.
The resistance wants it weaponized.
And someone inside their own crew wants it sold.
As drones fill the skies and kill squads close in, Victoria and Max must race across a collapsing urban battlefield of outlaw markets, corrupted checkpoints, and forgotten underground tunnels where the city hides its sins. Every step pushes them deeper into betrayal, violence, and a connection neither of them can afford.
Because in this world, love is the most dangerous thing you can smuggle.
A Cyberpunk Thriller With a Beating Heart
Rust and Hunger delivers more than pulse-pounding action and gritty sci-fi worldbuilding. It is a story about two broken survivors who have learned to live without trust, suddenly forced to rely on each other in a world designed to keep people isolated.
Victoria is a woman hardened by loss and surveillance, trained to disappear before she can be hurt.
Max is a man who laughs in the face of death because he has nothing left to lose.
Together, they are combustible.
Their attraction is slow, dangerous, and charged with the kind of emotional electricity that only comes from two people who know that tomorrow is not guaranteed. Every stolen glance, every moment of protection, every near-death escape brings them closer... even as the city tries to tear them apart.
A City That Feeds on the Desperate
The megacity of Rust and Hunger is not just a backdrop. It is a living predator.
Neon-drenched alleyways.
Black-market cantinas filled with informants.
Checkpoints that decide who gets to exist.
Surveillance grids that watch even your heartbeat.
This is a future where privacy is extinct, loyalty is rare, and hunger is everywhere, not just for food, but for freedom, for connection, and for something real.
If You Love...
...then Rust and Hunger will own you from the first page.
One Run. One Cargo. One Chance to Break the System.
Victoria and Max are not heroes.
They are survivors.
But sometimes survivors are the only people left who can change the world.
Open Rust and Hunger and step into a future where every secret has a price, every kiss is a risk, and every choice could be your last.
