The rust fungi, about 4600 species, are probably the cause of more crop losses than any other group of plant pathogens. These fungi are of great interest not only for the economic problems that they cause, but also for their highly specialized relationships with host plants. This book represents the first comprehensive account of the rusts since 1946, and it attempts to bring together current information on these fungi from diverse fields of study, and to present possible directions future investigations may take. Professional book seller with storefront since 1975. All orders carefully packaged and promptly shipped.
