There are also pieces from the family periodicals, his Oxford's papers, his ideas and comments on the origins of Alice and from almost his last writings, his extended attempt to emulate his masterpiece. There are also 18 poems and initial versions of other Carroll classics. The introduction discusses his life, work and personality. A few black and white illustrations are included.
