Sorority rush. Those two little words can bring up a lot. Beautiful houses, over-the-top decorations, and that priceless feeling of finally finding the place where you belong. But those words also conjure up crazy money, fierce competition for bids, heartbreaking cuts, and inescapable dorm room drama. That's because rush is many things. None of them are easy. But all of them are worth it. Because the friendships, support, and sense of belonging you gain in a sisterhood last a lifetime--and that's worth fighting for.
The Rush Bible is a step-by-step guide that provides insider info that clients pay top money for, and the emotional support to help readers land a bid from their forever Greek home. Trisha Addicks is the country's foremost expert with a sorority consulting firm that's successfully helped hundreds of women. Trisha knows every top-secret thing you need to prepare for, survive, and crush sorority rush. This advice is not sugarcoated. (No, you shouldn't wear Doc Martens. No booty shorts or stilettos either. No bikini photos or red solo cups on Instagram.) Addicks teaches readers not only how to nail the introduction video and which conversation pitfalls to avoid, but also how to uncover their own values to determine which sorority is the best fit. Because that is what a successful rush is all about: getting the bid that is right for you.
What you see on #RushTok, or read about online isn't nearly enough to help a PNM effectively navigate rush. When should a PNM start prepping? How much do recommendation letters matter? What should you pack in your rush tote? And do you really even have a chance if you aren't a legacy? Trisha Addicks and The Rush Bible are here to answer your prayers.
Readers will close The Rush Bible enlightened, entertained, and totally prepared to find their people without breaking their hearts, losing their minds, or going broke.
