Text appears free of markings, though last ~30 pages have a water stain on top edge near spine (about 1.5 inches by 1 inch; doesn't affect actual text but does discolor and ever-so-slightly wrinkle the corner of the pages and the rear pastedown). Unclipped dust jacket (price of $6.95) has stain at head of spine, clear tape to head and heel, general wear, chipping to edges, and sunning to spine. Number line goes down to 5 (5th printing of 1st edition), DJ has "Saturday Review Book Club" on inner flap. A good hardcover copy with acceptable DJ.
