Print on Demand. This book presents a collection of short stories with a common theme — they each feature an experience or incident that serves to lead its protagonist on a journey of ethical and moral discovery. Each of the characters is presented with the classic dilemma of whether to act for their personal good or for the benefit of others. The stories are presented with a clear but empathetic literary style that enables the reader to situate themselves within each traveler's struggle. The author explores complex, enduring questions about what it means to be a good and decent human being, and ultimately demonstrates the strength and value of compassion, empathy, self-sacrifice, and kindness. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
