Escher (1898-1972): "Horseman" (see Bool, p. 150) and never published in this form, but used by Escher in his published 1946 woodcut "Horseman" (Bool 342). Printed in a limited edition of only 450, individually numbered and stamped with the authentication seal of the M. C. Escher Foundation. A mint copy.
