Ruin Has Sharp Fangs is a standalone dark fantasy romance featuring morally gray choices, blood-bound devotion, and a love powerful enough to dismantle the laws of Hell itself.
* * *
Ivy Calder never meant to bargain with Hell.
Drowning in debt and on the brink of losing her flower shop, Ivy signs what she thinks is a Valentine’s delivery contract—only to discover she has summoned a Ledger Demon, a creature forged to enforce infernal law and collect what is owed.
Thorn is precise. Controlled. Lethal.
And bound by the contract, by the shop, and soon by Ivy herself.
As Valentine’s Day approaches, Ivy and Thorn are forced into close proximity, long hours, and an intimacy neither of them anticipated. Thorn was never meant to want. Ivy was never meant to be collateral. But when desire crosses into blood and blood crosses into law, the Ledger takes notice.
Some systems are built to consume.
Some contracts are designed to ruin.
And some love stories bite back.

Ruin Has Sharp Fangs expands the Veil of Shadows universe with a standalone novella set at the edge of Hell’s authority.
When Ivy Calder accidentally summons a Ledger Demon while trying to save her flower shop, she becomes entangled with Thorn—an enforcer forged to collect souls and erase defiance.
But Thorn was created under laws that predate the current Queen of Hell. Laws that do not account for choice. Or love.
As Valentine’s Day approaches and Hell tightens its claim, Ivy and Thorn form a bond that cannot be categorized, controlled, or collected. What begins as survival becomes rebellion.
This standalone novel features a cameo appearance by Remington, son of Meg, Queen of Hell, and explores the cost of dismantling ancient systems within the Veil of Shadows world.
