This 6.25 x 8.875 inch, 607 page hardcover book is the revised edition by Law, King, and Law of San Francisco, California in 1885 with that information on the title page. This book is in very good condition with definite wear showing to the leather spine and corner elements of the binding - - with the binding featuring a maroon leather back-strip and corners and a cloth binding over the leather. The corners show real wear - - one corner has worn through - - and there is wear to the spine edges and with the gilt lettering and design on the spine leather now brittle and somewhat cracked but complete and still very legible. The binding is still tight and square. The book features 600-plus pages of discourse on philosophy -*Aims and aids to success and happiness*- with a number of full-page period engravings to illustrate the text with most of the tissue guards as issued now missing. The text pages are clean and free of foxing. The hinges still are mostly tight with the exception of the rear end-papers being cracked and fully separated. 607 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-1469
