Neuware - Rowland Vaughan, His Booke offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and times of Rowland Vaughan (c. 1590 â?' 1667), a Welsh gentleman, soldier, and writer. This collection of letters and historical notes provides invaluable insight into Vaughan's personal experiences and the broader social and political landscape of 17th-century England and Wales.Vaughan was a Royalist during the English Civil War, and his writings offer a perspective on the conflict and its aftermath from a participant's point of view. His insights into the local impacts of national events are particularly valuable. The book sheds light on family life, local governance, and the day-to-day realities of living through a period of profound upheaval.Edited and presented in this volume, Vaughan's own words paint a rich portrait of a man deeply engaged with his community and his country. This book will appeal to historians, genealogists, and anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of 17th-century British history. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
