nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Roving And Fighting: Adventures Under Four Flags is a memoir by Edward S. O'Reilly, recounting his experiences as a soldier and adventurer under the flags of four different countries. The book is divided into three parts, each covering a different period of O'Reilly's life. The first part covers his time as a soldier in the Irish Republican Army during the Irish War of Independence. O'Reilly describes his experiences fighting against the British Army and his eventual capture and imprisonment. The second part of the book covers O'Reilly's time as a soldier of fortune, fighting in various conflicts around the world. He describes his experiences fighting in the Spanish Civil War, the Chinese Civil War, and the Second World War. The final part of the book covers O'Reilly's time as a mercenary in Africa, where he fought in various conflicts and worked as a military advisor to various African governments. Throughout the book, O'Reilly provides a firsthand account of the various conflicts he was involved in, as well as his thoughts on war, politics, and the nature of adventure. The book offers a unique perspective on the tumultuous period of the early 20th century, as seen through the eyes of a soldier and adventurer who fought under multiple flags. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work. …
