Small 4to. Blue cloth with gilt lettering and elaborate blind embossing. vii, 398pp. Top edge gilt. Color frontispiece, 11 full-page called-for color plates, numerous small graphics. Very good. Faintest edgewear only, else internally tight and fine. First published in London by T.C. and E.C. Jack in 1914, this American reprint is tight and quite attractive -- the fine color plates are exceptionally well done. Follows the author through travels across several continents. Geraldine Edith Mitton (1868-1955) was an English travel book writer, novelist, editor and biographer.
