- Book 1 of 1: The Rotwind Saga
The world didn’t die in a single stroke. It withered, spore by spore, until the new order rose from the decay—built on a lie.
Morgan Reed has survived the Rotwind plague, the collapse of civilization, and the brutal regime rising from its ashes. As a courier, he crosses fungal wastelands no one else dares to enter. He follows a simple code: deliver the package, protect the truth, stay alive.
But when the New American Republic orders him to transport a sealed capsule across a fractured America, the code breaks. The secrecy is suffocating. The sender, Director Langford, leaves only destruction in his wake.
When a murdered scientist’s final message reveals the truth, Morgan realizes the capsule isn’t just classified. It’s catastrophic. It contains a weapon engineered to reignite the plague—a system designed to wipe out an entire settlement under the guise of humanitarian aid.
Betrayed. Hunted. Marked for execution. Morgan has only one option: Run.
Alongside Vivian "Vex" Song, a guarded tech with her own scars, and Ghost, a pre-collapse war machine with absolute loyalty, Morgan races across a landscape twisted by fungal storms and lawless zones ruled by corporate kill teams. Every safehouse could be a trap. Every step brings them closer to the conspiracy at the rotten core of the new world.
From the neon shadows of the Free City of Dulles to the fortified Monolith garrison in Pittsburgh, or the snow-capped peaks of Colorado, they uncover a chilling truth: the Rotwind was never an accident. And the next phase will be global.
The clock is ticking. The world is watching. And the hunters are already closing in.
◆ Welcome to the Rotwind:
-
Gritty Logistics: A hyper-realistic wasteland where survival depends on broken tech, supply lines, and the couriers brave enough to run them.
-
Biological Terror: Navigate a world ravaged by a relentless fungal plague and the tyrants who seek to weaponize it.
-
For Fans Of: The atmospheric dread of Metro 2033, the grounded survival of Hugh Howey's Sand, and the unforgiving world of Edge of Collapse.
As Morgan becomes an unwitting symbol of rebellion, he must choose: disappear forever, or risk everything to expose the heart of the plague.
Grab your copy and enter the wasteland today.
BEFORE THE MANHUNT. BEFORE THE REBELLION.
The wasteland was bleeding long before Morgan, Vex, and Ghost ever met.
Set a few years before the events of the main novel, the prequel collection DEAD DROPS: A Rotwind Anthology plunges you into the established, brutal reality of a spore-choked America. Discover the story of a forgotten courier who risked everything to keep the free cities breathing in The Last Run, face desperate life-or-death choices with Captain Thorne in The Sky Above the Rot, and witness the cruel inner workings of the New American Republic in The Gatekeeper.
Each story echoes through the world of Rotwind. These are the choices that ripple into the future—the secrets that define the characters you’re about to meet.
Recommended Reading Order: Either book can be read first. Dive into Rotwind for the main manhunt, or start with Dead Drops to experience the world and characters before Morgan's journey began.
