This unread, small book has solid hinges and sharp tips. Includes the classic, unabridged text. Introduction by Brian Busby. 127 pages. 4¼ x 6½". "A Room of One's Own" is a foundational feminist essay by Virginia Woolf that argues women need financial independence and a private space to write and create art. The book-length essay, based on lectures Woolf gave in 1928, explores how societal and economic disadvantages have historically stifled women's creative potential. Woolf argues that the lack of resources and a space free from domestic duties and patriarchal judgment has limited women's literary output.
